Awarded a first class BA (hons) in Photographic Media, my work is strongly influenced by the natural world, particularly that part most people don't get to see, the underwater environment. In the beauty of this hidden place I am often surprised by the similarities between its subjects, and those that we pass by everyday.
Above and below water I am entranced by the light, colour and diversity of form, and hope to show some of this within my photographs, giving you, the viewer, a different perspective though my camera lens.
The images on display here are just a small selection of my work, which includes underwater conceptual, aquascapes and traditional landscapes as well as weddings and events. You can also find me in swimming pools around the northwest covering triathlons giving a unique perspective of those competing.
An accomplished scuba diver and instructor, I run bespoke workshops for underwater photographers and models wishing to expand repertoires and portfolios in the confines of a pool. I also run bespoke landscape workshops aimed at novice DSLR camera users at various locations.
